Default Equator fog lights

I'm going to attempt to install a set of fog lights in the blanked off area where the Frontier has fog lights and my new Equator does not. Any tips?

Both my 00 Frontier and 04 Nissan Titan had the harness for the fogs even though the truck didn't come with them so you might look about a foot above the knockouts for the pigtails. I believe the wires were yellow. If so then you'll need a fastener kit, the fog lights, buckets and a new stalk with the fog light switch on it.

Like this kit. It says 08 so you might want to contact them if you have a 09 just to be sure. Genuine Nissan Frontier Fog Light Kit

Default fog lights

Well, after a half day work on saturday and finishing on Sunday morning, I got the fog lights installed. The kit I had was aftermarket for the Frontier. The lights fit fine in the cutouts, but I had to fabricate mounting brackets.
The kit had a complete wiring harness that included a relay and dash switch. Everything works and looks neat.

regency, sounds like it was an easy install. My RMZ-4 came equipped with fog lights, but I'm still curious where you got the kit and if you might post some pics of the final assembly.

I'm interested in doing this upgrade too. Can you post of pic of the mounting brackets?

Default fog lights

eBay Store - blinglights-central: Neon, Trans Am, Frontier
They have the light blue tint lens and have a high intensity and low intensity setting from a 2 position rocker switch. The brackets are home made. I'll try and take the inner splash guard off for some pics.

I have the base model equator and the harness was there even though the guy at the dealership said it wasn't there. However dude to the steep price of the factory lights (he told me it was going to be more like 250 bucks) i went to auto zone and got some cheapo fog lights and they went in with out a problem plus it was more fun to figure out how to run my own wiring.
