Installed the front and rear splash guards today. What difference they make! It's been raining here so the results could been seen immediately. The tire spray is greatly reduced. The sets come with all the needed hardware and instructions. Very easy install. About $55 delivered from ebay.

I love mine, I was going to add running boards but the mud flaps do such a good job, I decided against it...for now.

Just ordered a set for myself ($51.16 + shipping, eBay). Strange how the (most likely) identical ones for the Frontier are just over $100.

Installed these today, they were pretty much a breeze.
The only slightly tricky part was aligning the protective film which goes on the back of the rear wheel wells, and ends up mostly underneath where the rear guards meet the body. Soap/water solution helps (think window tint). Nice that the kit comes with a squeegee. A stubby phillips screwdriver is also handy as space is tight between the tire and the inside of the rear wheel well (for the front you can just turn the wheels for better access). While I was putting them on I noticed a scratch (stone or road debris) that these would have prevented had I put them on earlier. It's now hidden by one of the guards (another plus). Another easy factory enhancement. Next up....fog lights. Last edited by Obtuse; 04-16-2010 at 06:49 PM. |

IMO they even make the truck look better. I like the molded or shaped style over the flat rubber ones that some makes use. Your right about the mylar film strips, figuring out the left from the right was about the hardest part for me.
My nav system should be in this next week Obtuse. Looking forward to using your info and links for installing this. |

I want to order the splash guard set for my '09 Crew Cab Equator. Can those of you who have already purchased from e-bay tell me if it's necessary to have a paypal account or can I do a straight purchase? Thanks.

Boomer check out the payment section of the sellers listing. If it says PayPal along with names of credit cards, then you don't have to go with PayPal. If PayPal is the only thing listed, then you'll need to set up a PayPal account.

Either there are few/none available - or I've gone eBay dumb. I can only find one seller selling them for $50/pair.
I'm on about the same schedule as everyone else here - splash guards, then fog lights, then navigation. NEVERMIND! I went eBay dumb and somehow was stuck only searching Canada for them... I don't even live in Canada! Last edited by hyunelan2; 05-03-2010 at 02:30 PM. |

hyunelan2, I found this one just now. They aren't eBay, but their price is good. Not sure about the shipping either. Suzuki Equator Exterior Accessories 2009-2010 at Dealerfit.com
Tom's Truck Center is also where I got mine. I see their recent listing has just ended on eBay. |
