I've been looking at this. The "kit" that comes from this nismoshop also comes with two trim rings that go around the light. I didn't see anything talking about those in the write-up. Are they just left off, or is there no place for them on the Equator?

The kit you are showing is for the Frontier with the chrome bumper. The kit for the painted bumper is what's needed for the Equators. The only thing that is the same in these 2 kits is the stalk switch. The filler rings aren't needed, and the fog lights for the painted bumpers have a totally different housing. Hope this helps.

Thanks. They show the same picture for chrome bumper or painted bumper - so I was confused.

Thumbs up Well Done!

Thanks a million for the write up! Been putting off this project for awhile, looks like it's time to get the fog lights in. Good luck with your Equator!

Thanks! I have a 2009 Equator Granite Grey Crew Cab Sport v6 4x4 6ft bed with sport value package( navi, bluetooth, bed extender, step rails and floor mats) Soon to be fog lights. I run a K&N air filter, but I'd like to pair a cai with the gibson exhaust system in the future.

Where is the best place to get the fog lights for the painted bumper?
I have a 2010 Crew Cab. I was able to get everything off my 08 Frontier except the Fog lights (chrome bumper). Also the Hypertech programmer doesn't work.

eBay seems to be the cheapest place for the OEM lights. I haven't ordered them yet, but have been looking around. Once I track down the turn signal stalk (I'll probably order one from courtesyparts.com) I'm going to get the lights off of eBay. Just search "Frontier OEM fog" and sort through the results.

Between Courtesy Nissan and Ebay I now have Fog lights. Little bit of a pain but had them on in less than 30 minutes. But I had put a set on a Frontier.
I had to drill the fog light holes out just a little. They had a little plastic residue in them that made the push fastener not work. once I did that it popped right in.
Now I need to run them at night and see if they need adjusting.
