Default Side moldings from Frontier LE?

Suzuki doesn't offer side moldings, but Nissan does. Any opinions on whether I should add these to my Ext Cab Premium (for door protection)?

Obtuse, I like the looks of these and the protection factor they offer. I guess if they saved one door ding they would be worth it. What's pricing like? Are they stick ons? I'll have to check out the Frontiers I see now. Never really paid attention to these before.

Looks like 90 bucks plus 24 shipping on ebay. May be cheaper elsewhere.

For King Cab, Radiant Silver: Nissan Part #999G2-BRK12K1 & 999G2-BRK12K2.

Not sure how they attach...probably double sided tape. I don't see any fasteners in the parts illustration:

I'm on the fence on these, but if they can spare me a door ding or two....hmmm.

I'd definitely want to see these in person first...I'll have to check out the local Nissan dealer to see if they have a Frontier LE on the lot.

I've had door moldings on other vehicles I've owned and somehow I always manage to get the ding, scratch, chip etc. If it's minor I get out the clear coat rubbing compound and get rid of as much of the surface blemish as I can so it's not as noticeable. If it's bigger I go see the guys at Dent King. They do a great job for about half the price of those $90 moldings and after some negotiating with my insurance broker they agreed to pay (cheaper than a whole new paint job) and it didn't affect my premiums. My broker said it's the same principal as stone chip repair on a windshield.
Any way I like the clean look of the Equator better than all that molding, just one guys opinion.

Opinion appreciated! I think these look pretty decent on the Frontier (well integrated), but not sure of the level of protection. Still "on the fence" on these, may hold off for now (and save up for fog lights).

Either way I'll still continue to park in the back of the lot at the mall.
