I am heavily considering this truck. Either this or the Frontier, however the style of this Suzuki is much more appealing to me.
My question now is where can I buy one of these? None of the Suzuki dealerships in my area carry any of them in the lot. I dont want to buy something before I get a chance to test drive it. Also the website doesnt allow me to choose any other color other than gray for the standard, base model 4cyl-5speed. Also, for the base model; King Cab, 4 cylinder, 5-Speed, how much should I expect to pay? What have you guys paid for your trucks? Thanks a ton. |

Can't help you on dealerships.
Here in TN I know of 2 Suzuki dealerships and they both have at least 5 on the lot. I bought the 6 cyl long bed crew and I did not see any 4 cyl and only automatic transmissions on the lot. Good luck |

I paid $22,899 for my Crew-Cab Sport, short-bed 4x2 (before tax).
If you want the Suzuki version, but can only order one - test driving a Frontier will be the same thing. I actually drove them both just to be sure. As for color, it looks like the base only comes in gray, comfort in red, then premium and sport give you color options. At least that's the way the build-and-price app on the Suzuki website makes it appear. I'm only seeing crew-cabs within 100 miles of Miami. Wow, thanks a ton! Do you guys think the 2010 king cab will only be gray for the base model, or eventually it will have more color options? Seems odd they only use one color. The manual tranny is more for me to save some money on, so if I cant get it, I wont cry over it.

I would think that if more colors were coming, they would be on the build & price list. When I bought mine back in April, all the colors were listed on the build and price site, even though there were only black ones available at the dealers. Shortly after I bought mine, some silver ones appeared.

Welcome to the group daniel4616. I haven't seen any Equators here at the dealer near me in central valley of CA. They are still pretty rare, only seen 2 on the road since I got mine last November.
It's an 2009 Extended Cab-Premium, that went for just under $20,000 with the year end special offers and financing that Suzuki offered last year. At that time there were only 4 Extended Cabs (all Premium) left in CA to choose from. One white, a red, black, and silver. The better price and trade in offer made the decision for me on the white one. Still had to travel 200 miles to get it. Good luck in your search. |
