For $75 bucks I am going to give it a shot. I will post up so reviews and numbers when I get it and install it.

It looks like one of those crap eBay chips to me - which is really just a resistor put inline in the AIT sensor. Usually, it makes the engine run rich, and like crap.
If there was any device that added, horsepower, torque AND fuel mileage - why wouldn't it come installed by all manufacturers from the factory. I am somewhat of an unofficial "expert" on a different vehicle. That website sells the same chip for the vehicle from 1992-2010. During that time there were 6 different generations, using 4 different engines - yet they sell one chip for all. Not possible. Save your $75, it's crap. If you really really really want to try it (bad idea), get a $5 eBay version. It's your brand-new truck, I wouldn't.

I think you are right. I did a search Friday and didn't find any negative press. I searched a little harder today and found a lot of complaints.
I wish Hypertech or Superchips would create a programmer but it appears they have no desire. |
