Default Suzuki Equator Base Audio System: System Description

I ran across this info and couldn't think of a better place to put it. Rather then stick all the info on the Audio system for our trucks I'm going to place it in 3 different threads for easy searching. I hope this okay?

The Suzuki Equator Base audio system consists of the following components
• Audio unit
• Rod antenna
• Front door speakers
• Front tweeters
• Rear door speakers

When the audio system is on, radio signals are received by the rod antenna. The audio unit then sends audio signals to the front door speakers, front tweeters and rear door speakers.

The base (4 speaker) system in the Extended Cab Base, Premium, and Sport, has no tweeters in the dash (just holes for them).

So did you get tweeters for your truck when you did your upgrade?

I have a set from a previous vehicle (Boston Pro 6.4 component set) that will be going in eventually. Right now just making do with the stock speakers and deck power. Wanted to get my old deck in ASAP to give me an Aux input for iPod.
