Just about to do this same install myself. Valley's part# is 81250. These can be found on eBay and Amazon. Don't know all the details, but their warranty is limited lifetime. I'm going to install the 7 pin kit that's offered by Suzuki and Nissan.
Thanks, for the warm welcome. Let us all know how it goes on your install. I'm hoping to pick up my truck tonight.

I will say one thing these trucks are hard to find in the midwest area. I could only find 1 dealer with one it is the rmz and in black .

I havn't bought a truck yet but I'm dead set on getting one. I just want to know if this is something I should get done before I drive it off the lot or do it myself or just take it to Master Hitch by the house. please post what you guys think.

I would like to know the part# for the valley hitch and was wondering if you know off hand the warranty on this hitch.

Thanks in advance for answering my questions
On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the most difficult, this install is a 1. I think you can save yourself a lot of dough by doing it yourself. Unfortunately, unless you buy the truck with a trailer towing package (and I don't even know if that's an available option) you will have to install the relays, whether you go with the four or seven pin connector.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

My truck is now in my garage. If you could post up the part #'s for everything you used on your truck I would be greatfull. Your install looks great. I'm going to do this myself as you suggested
Thanks, Neil

The 7 pin hitch connector and the relays were purchased through Courtesy Nissan for $65 as a kit. The part number is: 999T8-D407P.
The Valley class III hitch was purchased on-line from Hitch Web Hitch-web online trailer hitch sales Trailer Hitch Site: 800-300-4067 for $132 plus $28 shipping. SKU #693469 Valley part # 81250.
Hope this helps.

everything has been ordered for my trailer hitch. the actual hitch came in and when i was shopping i googeled it and found it for 130.00 shipped. I have gotten it yesterday and installed it. I also purchased a tonnuea cover from extang and it is the trifecta model. I found it for 299.00 plus 40.00 for shipping. It was the best price i could find and got it from got-chrome.com. I also got some wheel locks from mcgard and installed them. I ordered the nissan spare tire lock from jett sales for 15.00 dollars. when I opened up the package it was actually a mcgard lock. I'm waiting for my wiring harness and nerf bars to come in.

Good deal on the hitch! Post some pics when you're done.

I got my wiring harness today and was wondering how you got that through the bumper on your truck. Did you drill a hole and then take the wiring harness connector apart or did you grind some plastic off of the connector?
can you also post up a close up shot of the connector in your bumper.
Thanks for all the info,Neil

Hi Neil,
A little bit of both. I disassembled the connector as far as I could then used a Dremel to grind down any protrusions.
I have a brief post about this modification here: Installing the 4 or 7 pin trailer plug.
There are also pictures of the finished product.
Andy

well I got my nerf bars on today and put the 7 pin connector in the bumper it was easier than i thought. tomorrow I will put in the relays. I have one question about this. I put in the 7 pin connector because ya never know what your going to be towing. should I hook up all the connectors just incase i will be towing something with brakes? Will it hurt anything if I do plug in the connector for the brakes?

No it won't affect anything if your not using it. You can even get a 7 to 4 pin connector if the vehicle you're towing only has a four pin connector. Great job, and the nerf bars look great!
