I have a Crew Cab RMZ short bed automatic. It came with a factory installed stereo system; single CD player, radio, etc. The air conditioning unit is on the bottom fo the dash panel.

I want to replace the factory radio with a Pioneer system that has 6-CD changer with Ipod hook-up. A couple of auto stereo installers told me it can't be done because the air condition system is attached to the stereo system.

You'll need a kit like this. Nissan Frontier Kit Fits 2009-up models — Chassis size E and DD at Crutchfield.com Make sure the head unit is compatible.

also note the dash kit is not textured like the factory one is it looks ok but I did not like it. I will wait untell I am out of warranty and my h/u stops working before I replace mine
